MUSIC VARS – Record label and music publishing
The MUSIC VARS record label has been functioning in the domestic and foreign markets for more than 15 years with concentric and continuous endeavour to do wide genre extension. During that time more than 150 albums were published.
The MUSIC VARS has especially devoted to publishing of a classical music, mainly in a chamber performance, but we can also find orchestral albums in its offer, performed for example by The Prague Symphony Orchestra, The Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra of South Bohemia or by The Hradec Králové Philharmonic Orchestra.
Part of the publishing´s activities were also focused on publishing of contemporary composer´s of the classical music, it occupies itself with publishing music for children in the form of songs for children and these CDs belong to the best selling and very popular titles.
Big part of the company´s offer is formed by CDs with brass music records performed by well known ensembles like for example The Moravěnka or The Květovanka. We can´t forget not even another so called side step from the classic popular music to jazz or the cooperation with the outstanding Czech guitar soloist and pedagogue Jiří Jirmal.
During the history of the company many records gained among others The Music Recording Sales Certification. Among them belong albums like for example My Country performed by The Prague Symphony Orchestra, The Magical Baroque Trumpet, or CD in the interpretation of the organist Jiřina Pokorná or the trumpetist Miroslav Kejmar.
